The Learning Station offers five programs for children ages 6 weeks through 12 years: Infants (6 weeks – 1 year), Toddlers (1 – 2 years), Preschool (3 – 5 years), School Age (5 – 12 years), and Summer Camp (5 – 12 years).
The center is open Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The center is closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
The Learning Station uses KidSpring Curriculum®, Creative Curriculum, and STEAM across its programs, with a faith-based approach that incorporates each child’s milestones, goals, and natural interests.
Safety features include fingerprint technology for parent entry, a lobby locked at all times, webcams in every classroom and on playgrounds, and age-separated playgrounds. Parents can tune in to live video feeds up to 10 times a day through the Procare® Connect app.
Children enjoy a healthy breakfast, lunch, and snack daily, prepared by an in-house chef and included in tuition. Infants receive formula and baby food, with a gradual introduction to solids as they grow.
Yes. Enrichment programs include yoga, Spanish, baby signing, and art. Preschool children also participate in sign language classes offered during school hours.
The Learning Station uses the Procare® Connect app, which gives parents access to live video feeds up to 10 times a day from webcams in every classroom and on the playgrounds.
Yes. The Learning Station partners with South Carolina’s First Steps to School Readiness program and supports families who qualify for state and local tuition subsidies. Families are encouraged to visit childcareaware.org for available resources in their area.
Yes. The Conway campus provides transportation with drop-offs from Palmetto Bays Elementary and pick-ups from Carolina Forest and Waccamaw Elementary schools.
